Quit Day

So today was the day I decided to quit smoking, and its not been easy.

I started at school and never really stopped I was 15 years old, I have had many failed attempts before I quit for a few weeks last time but then my grandad got diagnosed with lung cancer due to cancer (you would think that would be an incentive) but that restarted me again. It was the most difficult time in my life.
Skin day one!

But this time I'm determined to kick the habit and thought I would document my progress. Not only is it bad for long term health but skin becomes dull due to the lack of oxygen circulating threw the body.

8.25 I started this morning and yes its only been 12 hours but everyone has to start somewhere.

A 15-20 a day habit needs to be nipped in the bud, I have gone cold turkey but do have what I like to call my quit stick, which has a nicorette cartridge in as I drive all day due to my job my concentration has been bad today so have had the quit stick in case of emergency.

TODAY (6-6-13)
Mostly been thinking of cigarettes today constantly think I'm going to go for for a cigarette then remember. I do feel a bit more energized but have got the temper of a bull any little thing is getting to me. So much so that if I had a cigarette I wonder whether it would still bother me.

Haven't been having the food cravings today which is good because that is my major fear is putting lots of weight on.

So this is the end of day one and tomorrows another day!

If any of you guys are trying to quit smoking or have a success
 story id love to here!

Noo xx
